What the product claims:

This 100% biodegradable shower gel is sulphate, paraben and colourant-free. Contains real apricot and basil extracts. Lather up in the bath or shower using hands or a bath lily. Rinse thoroughly.

The way I see it:

TBS has always made winner shower gels. The smell, the look of the bottle, the scent – all of it combined makes for the best and most appealing shower gels in the market.

This range ‘Earth Lovers’ is a product that is earth friendly. It does not contain parabens or sulphates and is 100% bio-degradable.
For those of you who are eco-conscious, this is the product for you.
Not only is basil good to be ingested, it is also very beneficial for your skin. It prevents acne outbreaks by clearing bacteria from the skin.
Apricots are tasty and full of vitamin A. Its oil has essential acids like linoleic and oleic which is absorbed by the skin. It is good for sensitive skin, retains the skins elasticity and eliminates skin blemishes.

In this apricot and basil shower gel, the scent that first hits you is fruity sweet and then turns sweet n sour.

It’s such a wonderful and uplifting smell. The scent lingers on the body and in the bathroom long after you’ve showered.
The formula tends to settle at the bottom of the bottle so you should shake it and use it.
The consistency is neither too runny nor thick and it is not a transparent gel but slightly milky.
It washes off easily so you don’t have to spend too much time under the shower.
The skin does not feel overtly dry making it a pleasure to use.
You do not need a lot of product – just as much as two coins, which is enough for the entire body.
There is not too much lather but enough to satisfy a lather freak. In the picture you can see the lather that the amount of a green pea gives.
I love the Earth Lover’s range from The Body Shop and have LEMON & THYME as well.
In India you can
also find:

I think its a must try for all.. plus the teeny-weeny bit we do for the earth just by bathing.. 🙂
HnB Ed: Needless to say, lovely review Chris.. I too picked one from this range recently.. in Watermelon & Eucalyptus. I think its time I start using it… my current shower gel is simply refusing to get over 😀
