Freida Pinto at Trishna Premiere!

Heyya gals..I am adding this new section to the blog – Style Files.

Its gonna be about a casual chit-chat on famous personalities, their style quotient, makeup, blah, blah & blah…

Kicking this series off with Freida Pinto – one of fashion’s favorite child, as they call her!

Look #1:

Trishna is the latest movie for Freida, which released in July 2012.

Here is Freida at the premiere of the movie in New York.

Designer: Rachel Roy
Dress: Rachel Resort 2013 Collection
Footwear: Brian Atwood

Nothing from this look appeals to me – right from her hair-do, makeup – including the dress!!

It is actually a cute, shimmery white dress but appears ill-fitting & combined with bare minimum accessories & makeup that work no magic.

She could have worn one that accentuated her toned body & not made her look like a school-goer like in this one!

Atleast the lipstick should have been bright to throw some color into this otherwise boring look.

If there is one thing that I adore in this look, it would be her pumps from Brian Atwood.

Have a closer look at them here. Ain’t they droolworthy?

Look #2:

Here is another look of Freida Pinto from the premiere of the same movie “Trishna” at the Tribeca Film Festival this year.

I am totally in love with this red hot look of hers!

Designer: Gucci
Bag: Fendi

I so very like that blingy butterfly brooch which just adds up life to this chic dress.

Red & black can never go wrong & here is yet another example of the same.

The understatement belt, pumps & simple makeup add up the glamour to this look.

The flyer bun also makes it look more chic & thumbs up for that perfect red lipstick to go with the dress.

This look is something that anyone can carry with minimal effort – even to office!

I totally love the shade of lipstick Freida is wearing! How about you?

Trishna snippets for you:

This film is an adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s classic – Tess of the D’Urbervilles.

Freida Pinto & Riz Ahmed play the lead roles in the film which is a story of a Rajasthani rural woman.

The film is directed by Bristish director – Michael Winterbottom.

So gals… what’s your feedback on this Style Files section?? Pour in by way of ur comments! 😀
