How are things at your end?
Coming back to the post, its a review on Sattvik Organics Saffron Mattifying Day Cream.

Also available in a 12 g. sample tube for INR 49.
What the product claims:
The way I see it:
The cream comes in a white plastic tub with no inner lid. Travelling could be messy with this jar.
The product is saffrony-white in color and is a thick cream in consistency.
The product comes with a PA+++ & SPF30 tag, which really excited me to try it out.
Only very little of the cream is required for each use & it moisturizes well owing to its ingredients list.
If you take a little more & apply, the skin ends up being greasy – so one has to be careful with the quantity used for each application.
The cream leaves a soft matte finish – skin doesn’t look either dry or dewy after application.
My mom has been using this too for a while now. She has dry skin & totally loves it… 🙂
I haven’t seen any change in complexion & skin texture with regular usage of this cream… probably on prolonged use, it should start showing results.
It didn’t irritate the skin or cause breakouts.
I have been using this cream for quite long now – over the summers & now in the monsoon too. Actually wanted to test the product in a different season, to see how it fares.
I didn’t develop any new tan over the summers & felt the SPF30 in this cream was good enough, since I stay indoors most of the time.
The cream is equally good during the monsoon now.. though my skin hasn’t seen much change with the weather.
Overall, its a good cream with moisturizing properties & an impressive ingredients list ideal for most skin types.
The ‘Yay’ factors:
- Indigenous brand
- Amazing ingredients
- Offers both UVA & UVB protection
- Suitable for all skin types
- Only very little required for each use
- Not travel friendly
- Mineral oil in the ingredients bothers me
