Revlon Eye & Lip Makeup Remover Review

Hey ladies..This time the review is for Revlon Eye/Lip makeup remover.
I have been using this product for around 2 months now and believe its time I review this product in HnB..

Was on the lookout for a good makeup remover and happened to lay my hands on this Revlon stuff during my last purchase..Since Revlon has been around for yrs now..picked up this one without much thought.

Price: INR 145 for 60 ml.

Packaging:
Comes in a flip-open plastic tube thus making it travel-friendly and hygienic. I feel that the flip-top is not that sturdy that it just cant resist to open.. 🙂
The mouth of the tube is also a little wide, so one has to be careful not to take too much for application.

What the product claims:
This creamy makeup remover lifts away all kinds of makeup(including longwearing and transfer-resistant makeup). Leaves skin comfortably soft and free of residue. Non-irritating. Opthalmologist-tested. Wont cause breakouts.

Key Ingredients:
Mineral Oil, Iso-propyl palmitate, Panthenol

The way I see it:
Yes.. the makeup remover is pretty creamy in color and texture. Its of a lotion consistency; thus its easy to apply all over the face. It spreads easily on the skin and has not caused any breakouts for me so far. I have a little dry skin, so cannot justify on the breakout.. how good it will work on oily skin?? u hv to tell me.. 😀

Its has a medicinal fragrance to it though not very irritating to the nose. It does irritate a bit near the inner eye area when I try to remove my thick lines of kohl… but YES.. it is very effective in removing facial, lip n eye makeup… very rarely do I need to go for second application for the lower eye area to remove my kajal..

Splash water n clean the remover or by swabbing wet towel/tissue. Follow it up with your daily cleanser/face wash to get rid of the slight greasy feeling the remover imparts.

I felt really clean and happy to see my kajal get removed this easily.. This has become a must-use item in my skin routine…

The ‘Yes’ factors:

  • Brand reputation
  • Travel-friendly packaging
  • Does not cause breakouts (atleast for normal-dry skin)
  • Safe on eyes (any product would irritate if it gets into the eye obviously)
  • Easy to apply texture
  • Does the job pretty good

The ‘Nay’ factors:

  • A little pricy for the given quantity
  • Wide nozzle of the tube
  • Availability (hard to get even in Revlon counters)
  • Only key ingredients mentioned; not all

HnB rating:

Availability > 3/5
Price > 3/5
Product > 4.5/5

Repurchase: Yes, for sure.
