Winter is here.. though it doesn’t get that cold & dry like the northern part of the country.. winter care is essential in Hyderabad too.
So here’s a peekaboo at the products I am gonna talk about in this post –
I call it CMTM – Cleanse-Massage-Tone-Moisturize! 🙂
Here is an earlier post on my CMTM routine & products used for you all!
1. Cleanse – Massage – Tone
I am currently using the Avon Solutions Youth Minerals Cream Cleanser for my daily cleansing. It is a decent cleanser with a mild fragrance. To be reviewed @ HnB.
For the massage part, I am presently using Vedic Line’s Papaya Gel. I am totally loving this gel and shall be reviewing this soon.
Next comes the toning part. Fabindia Rose Water is my go-to toner these days. I carry it along and use it as a facial mist too over the day whenever I need a dose of freshness.
Fabindia Rose Water is THE BEST rose water I have ever come across. You can check out a comparitive review HERE.
For me moisturization is of ultimate importance. I have normal-dry skin on the face & dry skin for my body – which needs bad attention during monsoon & winters.
My day cream is Sashabelle Ultra Healing Facial Cream, reviewed HERE – which has the goodness of seabuckthorn berry & has no parabens, pthalates, sulfates, etc.Plus its got a soothing fragrance.
For the body I apply Sweet Vanilla & Fig Body Butter from Upper Canada Soap. This again is a product free of parabens, paraffin, petrolatum, sulfates, etc.
I go to bed with my Olay Age Defying Night Cream. It is totally lightweight and I love the fragrance.
Its a great pick.. actually hubby got it for me from Dubai.
The key factor about my moisturizers would be their fragrance.. each of them smell great & peps up your mood.. yet subtle & not overpowering!
All 3 products are yet to be reviewed in the blog! 🙂
3. Scrub – Mask
For the bi-weekly scrub & mask ritual, I am currently loving the below exfoliating scrub & face pack, both from Prakriti Herbals.
The pack is a little tight, so I tend to squeeze it into a cup, splash some rose water, mix & apply with this Vega Face Pack Brush.
This face pack brush doesn’t rub the face harder & makes for easy, non-messy & hygienic face pack application.
Have you used any of the products mentioned in this routine?
What is your take on them? Any product you want to be reviewed first?
Please do let me know your thoughts by way of your comments.
C ya… 🙂
