I have to admit that I am really getting bored of what all our Indian fashionistas are showcasing at the Cannes.
Nevertheless.. take a look at what various celebrities had to offer…
Inside Llewyn Davis Premiere
Mallika opted for a strapless gray & black Dolce & Gabbana gown for her red carpet walk this time.
Wondering why everyone from India is opting for the same dove gray-combo this time at Cannes – first Sonam in Shehla, then Ash in Elie Saab & now Mallika.
Well… this was a much better appearance for Mallika, after her repeated faux pas.
She looks really pretty in this gown… I just wished the makeup was a little better.
Variety Studio – Chivas House
Mallika opted for a casual green top teamed with black skinny jeans.
Everything looks fine, but too very casual when you are attending a festival & its parties!
Also should have bothered to change the neckpiece from the D&G look.. 🙂
amfAR’s Gala – Cinema for Aids
Mallika is spotted here in a full-sleeve, ashy D&G number again.
The satin & lace all-over makes the gown pretty, but the gown falling flat doesn’t do much to the look.
Plus Mallika doesn’t seem to be in the mood to get all dressed up when it comes to accessories & hair-do.
Ahem! I have always believed this woman has some mental disorder that needs some serious attention.
Nevertheless, she was there at Cannes to promote her upcoming film Kamasutra 3D in an all-transparent black number.
She was also spotted in an all-desi avatar, complete in an off-white & gold lehenga with a long plait by the papparazzi.
Matronly mummy is back! But this time she looked much better in yet another Sabyasachi creation.
This has to be my favorite look of Vidya, so far at Cannes.
Totally love everything about the look – particularly those earrings! 🙂
Un Chateau En Italie Premiere
Vidya in red – long after we had seen her in ‘The Dirty Picture’…
Undoubtedly another Sabyasachi! Thumbs-down!
Looking like she’s been selected to be casted as ‘Karan-Arjun”s mama.. 😀
In a Gucci teal satin gown first… It has nothing special to mention about except that it is ‘teal’.. looks refreshing on her!
The makeup is refreshing too – bold fuchsia lips & shimmery eyes. Wasn’t that bun too high? Is that black clutch u are holding fine?
Nevertheless.. she looked good & fresh in this…
I think its hightime people stop thinking too much about Indian wear. Look at this gold-coordinated Ash…
Too much of gold, high-neck blouse, high bun, silver clutch.. nothing works in this look for me!
Well.. this one is by Tarun Tahiliani.
The latest birdie to walk the Cannes red carpet for the promo of her upcoming film – Shortcut Romeo.
She hit a wicket with her desi look in a Manish Malhotra lehenga. Really pretty!
But wait.. the makeup? – This could become a classic example of ‘how not wear your makeup’ or ‘how to choose the right foundation’!! 😀
That’s it for now gals! What are your thoughts on our celebrities here..
