One of my relative swears by the Oriflame Aloe Vera & Arnica toner for her combination skin. Since I am head over heels on the Oriflame Pure Nature Blueberry & Lavender toner, I thought of trying out the aloe vera gel from the same range first!
Price: INR 249 for 50 ml. ( I got this on 50% off though)
Shelf life: 3 yrs.
It comes in a green plastic tube with a screw-on lid. The nozzle in the tube lets out enough product for each use.
The way I see it:
The green tube is soothing to look at! 🙂
Coming to the product, its a clear gel & of medium thickness. It smells medicinal – something that I hate!
I have tried various aloe gels right from the natural sap to the most close to au natural – the Fabindia Aloe Gel, but the way this one smells is a real put off!
The medicinal smells is not too harsh or overpowering, it goes away immediately upon applying on the skin – but I simply hate it!
To top it up, you need to check the amount of other (chemical) ingredients that have gone into making this gel…. astonished!
I tried scraping out the label but in vain… hope you all can make out the long laundry-list of ingredients out there!
A simple aloe gel – and this big a list??? :O
I used this gel post cleansing for a quick 2-minute massage & somehow managed to use most of the product inspite of the odd fragrance & not bothering the ingredients list. too.
There is about 2-3 uses left in this tube, but I am flinging this away!
There it goes down the bin & +1 for the empties post in the coming month 😀
I would definitely not repurchase nor recommend this product!
I like various other Oriflame skin care products, but this one is definitely not in the “jubilants” list! 🙂
