OPI Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil

Review by Christina.Good evening gals…

Nail care is as essential as any other routine you might follow. Today’s post is on a nail care product – OPI Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil.

I picked this product hoping to provide some TLC to my nails.. Read on to know if this product actually worked for me or not.

Price: Bought this in Kuwait. Approximately INR 700 upon conversion.

Quantity: 15 ml.

What the product claims:

It is filled with
the ESSENCE OF RICH AVOCADO to replenish essential moisture with soothing.
All Avoplex products are formulated with
OPI’s Advanced Avocado Lipid Complex – a combination of deep-penetrating,
skin-loving antioxidants; phospholipids, the biological building blocks of
skin; vitamins A, B1, B2, D, and E; essential fatty acids; and Avocado Oil, which
closely resembles the skin’s own natural oils.
Avoplex restores you from the “skinside” out!
Ingredients:
Rich in
therapeutic, skin-loving Avocado Oil in combination with super antioxidant
Tocotrienol – 1000 times more powerful than regular Vitamin E – plus
feather-light Grape Seed, Sunflower, Sesame and Kukui Nut oils and Lecithin to
restore essential moisture and lipids and nourish dry cuticles.
The way I see it:
I bet I
wash my hands more than any of you reading this post!
Working with stray animal’s is both rewarding
and unhygienic as well..and after using tons of sanitizer each day I have to
come back and wash my hands with that harsh Dettol hand wash and then scrub my
clothes as well.  I do not put them directly
in the washing machine because sometimes they have blood, fur and medicine on
them.
It takes a
toll on my hands and my cuticles are always peeling in strips and then I bite
it off and get a horrible injury and ugly looking fingers.
I was looking for something and was to get this product from mom. With regular use I started to notice an improvement.
Avoplex Oil heals torn skin and softens the
cuticles.  It keeps the cuticles and the
area around hydrated.
The excess skin goes back in its place and give the
fingers a very good and tidy look.
The
oil is like a transparent nail paint and of similar consistency.
It does
not get thick and does not need any thawing. It also smells very nice.
I use it consistently every
night after bath and before I go to bed.
Make sure you are not going to
be doing any washing or water-work after you apply it.
Once your cuticles are better then you can
get a little stingy with the product.
Use it as if you were applying nail polish in an UNTIDY manner. Let the product get onto your cuticles and
some on your nail as well.
I
noticed a difference in my fingers as soon as I started using this
product.  My cuticles do not tear easily
now.  I can see stronger and healthier
looking nails.
I’ve
been using it for over a month now and there is still lots of product
left.
Although it is on the pricey side,
it is certainly worth it. With this ON
my hands, I won’t have to invest in any cuticle creams and expensive
treatments.
You can also find this with
a dropper instead of a nail polish applicator.
The ‘Yay’ factors:
  • Its OPI!
  • Fab ingredients
  • Easy to use
  • Applies like a nail polish
  • Heals cuticles faster
  • Can be worn to bed
  • One bottle will last a long time
  • Doesn’t burn open cuticle wounds
  • Lovely scent

The ‘Nay’ factors:
  • Pricey
  • Availability in India
  • Slightly greasy
I would give this a 4/5.  Cutting a point since its pricey & also not easily available in the country.
This is nothing
short of a miracle oil for broken and torn cuticles.

I would suggest all of you ask your people
abroad to get you one of these. Definitely worth it!
HnB Ed – Fab product it seems, Chris.. I think I need to get this quick.. My cuticles are in bad shape too..
