Natural Bath & Body Green Tea Eye Pack – Product Review

Hey beauties..We are always concerned about our eye.. ain’t we?

Be it pertaining to health, makeup or beauty – eyes always hold a special place. And really how many problem factors we have for the eyes – dull & tired eyes, dark circles, wrinkles, puffy eyes, crow’s feet and many more.

I am sure each one of us would have individual eye-care products to look after our dear eyes.

I too love pampering my eyes with special products developed for them and hence picked up this – Natural Bath & Body Green Tea Eye Pack.

Only key ingredients are mentioned on the product label.

Water, Aloe vera gel, Glycerin, Green tea extract. (Impressive!)

Price: INR 275 for 10 gm. (I bought this for INR 240 from Urbantouch)

Shelf life: 15 months

It comes in a small black tub as any other lip balms in the market. When it arrived in the package only, a good amount of product was stuck to the lid, since there is no inner lid.

Being a small package, one can toss it into the vanity during travel but for the messy lid, you will get to see  at the end of the day. It would be unhygienic too – to dip your fingers into the tub for application.

What the product claims:

No claims on the product. This is what I found from the internet:

“Enriched with green tea extracts, blended with aloe-vera gel, this eye pack helps prevent and reduce puffiness, dark circles, lines, wrinkles and other signs of fatigue and stress. Extracts are cold-blended to improve microcirculation and elevate moisture levels in the sensitive eye area.”

How to use:

Apply on under eye area & keep for 10-15 minutes. Wipe off.

The way I see it:

I have light dark circles around my eyes and though I am using specific eye care products, wanted to do something extra for them. Hence, the purchase.

The ingredients list pretty impressive and all one would look for in a natural product. Sad that only the key ingredients are listed and not the entire one.

As mentioned in the claim, the pack upon application gives a cool and tingly feel and has a pleasant, mild fragrance. Though it is mentioned to use only in the under eye-area only, I have been applying this prodcut over the eye lids too.

It is a transparent gel and one would require only very less quantity of it, since gels tend to spread well. So, a small 10g tub would come for say 2 months upon regular usage.

It forms a transparent film around the eye area and as the pack dries, you will feel a tightening feeling around the area. It becomes normal after and ready to wash after 15 mins.

It is easy to wipe off using a tissue or with running water. It takes off the oiliness in the eyelids which I believe is due to the green tea extract present in the pack.It moisturises the eye area well and the eyes look a little brighter after using the pack which is only short-lived.

I have been using this pack regularly every week and have not found any other major change to the eye area.

Overall, I would say it is an average product and can serve as a quick fix before getting ready for an occasion/party.
