I got this as a gift from our very own Zee (Zara) some time back & this happens to be the first ever Lush product I have tried….
Thanku so much Zee… <3 🙂
Now, getting on to the details of the product..
Price: INR 360 for 100 g.
Shelf life: 2 yrs. (Generally Lush products are best used fresh & at the earliest)
Take a look at the pic below –
A sturdy, transparent jar with a black flip-open cap. Travel-friendly & non-messy too.
But as the product gets over, it becomes tough to squeeze out the remaining product everytime.
A tube packaging would have worked well, atleast in this case.
What the product claims:
Check out the below pics for the same –
The way I see it:
The consistency of this body wash is exactly a gel.
Its pale greenish-yellow in color.
It smells of freshly cut lemons & oranges – yes… freshly cut! 🙂
I love citrusy fragrances, especially in the hot months…or whenever I need to zest up my mood after a long day.
And this shower gel, perfectly fits the bill. Anyone who loves citrus fragrances in their personal care, will never get bored of this.
The product lathers really well – for one that is considered to contain natural ingredients. But I did spot SLES in the ingredients list – hence the answer is simple.
Only a dollop – equal to one squeeze of the jar (say a 1 rupee coin) is required for each usage.
This one jar would last easily for 2 months even if used daily.
It doesn’t leave the dry post shower, but one cannot skip their moisturizer too.
Overall, a very good shower gel for one who loves zesty fragrances with some good quality ingredients.
The ‘Yay’ factors:
- Uplifting citrus fragrance
- Reputed brand
- Little product required for each use
- Doesn’t dry out the skin
- No artificial colors
- No animal testing
- Recycled & recyclable packaging (Thumbs-up)
- Not completely natural – contains SLES
- Shelf life
- Squeezing out product gets tough over the time
- Price for given quantity is high (But its Lush, baby!)
