The way I see it:

First let me tell you that Puro products are manufactured by under-priviliged women in association with a NGO.

They are cruelty free & totally vegan.

I have tried the Mocha lipbalm too which smells of invigorating coffee – one of my favorite.. gave it to my cousin who fell in love with it! 🙂

Coming to Lemon Twist, the lipbalm is yellowish in colour and waxy in consistency.

It of course smells of lemons – though not very strong. How I wish it smelled a little more stronger!

When applied on the lips, it initially froms a superficial coating and takes time to sink in.

It does not feel sticky on the lips which is a big plus and works on dry lips to good extent.

Though I wouldn’t recommend this one for very dry or chapped lips.

It would also not suit as a base under lipstick. I have personally tried this under lipstick and this causes the lipstick to fade faster.

It is an ideal lipbalm for the night with all its natural goodness, to revive your lips.

Summary:

Overall, a good lip balm to be used overnight which nourishes the lips to good extent. However, very dry/chapped lips may not find this to be that hydrating.

The ‘Yes’ factors:

  • All natural ingredients
  • Curelty free
  • Vegan
  • Moisturises well
  • Mild lemon fragrance

The ‘Nay’ factors:

  • May not do good to very dry/chapped lips

HnB rating: 4/5

Recommend? – Yes! It goes for a good cause in the sidelines as well.

Love,
HnB
