I bought this one pretty long time ago and love this one.
Was at the Lakme counter adding up a little haul, and this one too hopped into my cart 🙂
Price: INR 275
Shelf life: 3 years
It comes in a cuboid transparent plastic container with a silver cap that holds the brush. The lipgloss comes in a golden carton which mentions about the ingredients too.
The packaging is definitely classy and appealing, but there is no mention of the shade on the container or the carton.
I had thrown the carton long time back and had to find the ingredients list from the internet.
Polybutene, Vitamin E Acetate, Approved colors, Perfume.
What the product claims:
“This ultra shiny gloss gives your lip an intense, vibrant color while keeping lips feeling soft. Evenly glide it on bare lips for a daring shine without any stickiness.”
The above claim is printed on the carton.
The way I see it:
Though the gloss looks more of beige shade, it totally looks nude when applied on the lips.
It has an extra sheen that looks neat on the lips, but I hate the brush provided. Its like a stick and is of no good during application. So one tends to over apply or it gets out of the lip line easily.
It does not settle into lines which I like the most in this.
Also there is no shade name mentioned on the container but for the number 66 at the bottom. The shelf life is also decent and this shade is apt for daily wear to office and will look good on all skin complexion.
I prefer to wear this over day time, so that I can make use of the nude shine it gives – glamorous yet simple.
Please see a swatch below.
The ‘Yes’ factors:
- Does not settle into lines
The ‘Nay’ factors:
- No shade name
- Applicator brush quality
- No SPF
Repurchase? – Maybe! I have too many too finish before I set out to buy one..
