Himalaya Herbals Lip Balms – Strawberry & Vanilla

I had recently reviewed the Himalaya Herbals Body Lotions in three variants , and today its the turn of their lip balms.

I received them in two variants – Strawberry & Vanilla.

Before heading on to review these, let me highlight that a part of each lip balm sales proceeds to the “SmileTrain” foundation that is into corrective cleft lip surgery in kids. Having personally seen a lot of kids abandoned in orphanages because they were born with congenital cleft lips – more so of them being baby girls – I could not be more glad than using this lip care product that serves a cause, in its little own way!

Price: INR 125 each

These lip balms come in typical chapstick model – great for on the go use, no digging in the tub required!

The strawberry one has a mild red tint and smells quite natural. The vanilla variant is non-tinted and has a hint of fragrance to it.

Both of them are great lip care products for normal lips. For someone who has terrible dry lips as me, they don’t provide as much hydration I would expect from a lip balm, but at the same time with regular re-application I have been able to tackle dryness of the lips.

Strawberry is my office staple – stashed in my wallet. I so love matte lips but also not into touch-ups during the work day and so just swiping this at my desk or after a meal is good enough to battle dryness and lipstick wear-off.

Vanilla is my bedside companion for now!

Decent lip balms with no unwanted ingredients, backed by a social cause at a great price – what more to ask for! Plus made in India! 🙂
