I am a big time addict of anything that smells of roses – hence connected instantly with this product. The product is close to getting over and what better time than now to review this (atleast for the pics sake :D)
Price: INR 225 for 100 ml.
The scrub comes in a transparent plastic tub with an inner lid. The container appears to be sturdy enough to handle.
However I don’t approve much of tub packaging in most products – as they are not very travel friendly and tend to get unhygienic.
The below pic shows the entire list of ingredients listed on the label.
What the product claims:
An exfoliating gel scrub with soothing rose petals and geranium oil. The rose petals have a cooling effect while geranium oil detoxifies the skin.
The way I see it:
I am totally in love with the luxurious rose fragrance of this scrub – which is the USP of the product and the main buying factor for me.
The granules are from walnut shells and one can also see shredded rose petals in the scrub.
I feel that the granules are bigger and hence harsher on the skin. So, I never applied it on my face after the initial trial. I have been using this as my body scrub and 2 scoops of the product is good enough for the entire body.
The ingredients list has some of the best moisturising agents in it – nevertheless the scrub leaves my skin dry after every usage.
There is a mention of Lactic acid in the product which is a skin-lightening agent, but my skin never showed any such improvements.
It is very effective on rough skin over elbows, knees, etc. and works well on the foot too.
Wish the fragrance lingered on a little more – it just vanishes immediately upon washing.
Overall its a good product recommended only as a body scrub and dare not try this on your face.
The ‘Yes’ factors:
