Deborah Milano Bioetyc Clean Skin Cleansing Milk – Review

Big Hi to the lovely lasses out here.. :)This time the review is on Deborah Milano Bioetyc Clean Skin Cleansing Milk.  This was an instant pick since I never planned to buy a cleansing milk when I purchased this last month.

I am more of a skin care freak more than a makeup junkie. I too swear by the CTM routine & have seen improvements to my skin though nothing major.

This product is from Deborah Milano of Italy – BIOETYC Clean Skin range.

Lets see how this cleansing milk fared with me ahead in this post.

Price: INR 425 for 400 ml. ( I got this for INR 330 from Fashion & You sale)

Packaging:

This comes in a kinda paisley-shaped, tall container in pearl color. The nozzle comes with a flip-flop cap which is lilac in color and the label graphics are of blue & lilac.

Easy-to-use packaging though not travel friendly. Such a huge bottle would occupy space.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Paraffinum Liquidum, Sorbitan Monostearate, Petrolatum, Polysorbate 60, Propylene Glycol, Ehtylhexyl Cocoate, Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Oil, Betaine, Carbomer, Lecithin, Palmitic Acid, Stearic Acid, Parfum, Euphrasia Officinalis Extract, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric acid, Calcium chloride, Cupric chloride, Ferric chloride, Magnesium chloride, Manganese chloride, Zinc chloride, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Butyl-, Ethyl-, Methyl-, Propyl-paraben, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate.

Phew! Wonder what all these chlorides are doin here.. (shall do a separate post on the ingredients as well..)

What the product claims:

Suitable for all skin types.

  • It gently removes all traces of makeup & impurities
  • Thermal oligoelements encourage new cell growth
  • Euphrasia officinalis extract has a soothing & smoothing effect on the skin

The way I see it:

Texture: It is in between lotion and cream consistency in off-white color. Spreads easily on the skin and doesn’t feel sticky.

I take a 50 paise coin size for my entire face & neck and sometimes a little more too. Spreads easily on the skin and works well in removing facial makeup and other dirt & impurities as well.

It does not sting the eyes while trying to remove eye makeup – though it irritates a little if the product gets into your eyes (which is the case with any other product too!).

I notice that it isn’t as effective in removing eye makeup as it removes from the face.

It doesn’t remove waterproof eye makeup at one go! Need to dab on a little more of it on the eyes and try removing.

Have not faced any zits or breakouts so far and it gets washed away easily by a face wash.

The fragrance is that of some perfume which is mild and would not bother most of the noses.

It contains Euphrasia Officinalis extracts which is commonly known as ‘Eyebright’ flower. It is used in various  treatment & remedies for eye problems.

Overall, I am really liking this cleanser and given the quantity – I am happy with the price I paid too.

The ‘Yes’ factors:

  • Effective in makeup removal
  • Does not cause breakouts
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Reputed brand
  • Value for money
The ‘Nay’ factors:
  • Waterproof eye makeup doesn’t get removed totally
  • Not easily available
HnB rating: 3.5/5
Repurchase? I have a huge bottle to complete. Will think about it later.
Recommend? Sure. Its a good product and worth a try.
Looking to pick this product? I saw it available on Medplusbeauty for INR 331.
Love,
HnB
