Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild

Hey all…Today’s product under the lens is Clinique Liquid Facial Soap – Mild.

This is the Step-1 product in Clinique’s 3-Step skin care regime for dry-combination skin types.

Price: INR 1200 for 200 ml. (Full size)

I received a sample size of 30 ml. in my January Vellvette Box.

Ingredients:

Not mentioned in the sample size. Hopeful that it is listed on the full size bottle.

Packaging:

The sample sized product comes in a pastel green tube with a screw-on lid.

Ample quantity for a sample & convenient to use & travel too.

By the way, the full size product comes in a bottle with a pump dispenser. (love!)

What the product claims:

Gentle, effective cleansing developed by Clinique’s dermatologists for the needs of skin dry in the cheeks, comfortable to oily in the T-zone.

Non-drying. Use twice daily.

Clinically formulated. Allergy tested. 100% fragrance free.

The way I see it:

This is my first product from Clinique. And, I am totally in love with it.

The product is a transparent gel & is slightly runny.

A pea-sized quantity is good enough for a single use on the face & neck area.

Though the product claims to be fragrance free, there is a mild fragrance that of pistachios while using it.

The cleanser lathers pretty well for a mild one – but not like those extremely lathering, bubbling & creamy cleansers.

It is mild as it claims on the skin. Does not dry out or stretch the skin post usage.

There are no breakouts caused & this cleanser leaves the skin squeaky clean.

It doesn’t manage to remove waterproof makeup – it never claimed too! I always use a makeup remover & cleansing milk to get rid of makeup.. so no issues for me in this front.

My skin is normal-dry generally, but my nose tends to get slightly oily during the summers.

I am already saving this for a perfect cleanser during the sunny months. The tube is compact for travel too.

Even if used twice daily, this sample size would last for about 3 weeks easily.

Overall, a great cleanser that has convinced me good enough to pick the full size one 🙂
