Today I am reviewing one of my favorite nail paints these days….. Avon Matte Nail Paints in the shade – Violetta.
This is the first time I am trying mattes…. and I want to try holo & textured ones real soon! 😀
I had mentioned HERE about what all nail paints I had picked from Avon recently.
The shade is a beautiful, true violet… no purple, grape or lavender in it!
When applied it looks glossy, but finishes to a matte when dried. It dries quickly too… by the time you are applying paint to the last nail in your hand, the first one is totally dry.
The brush is of decent quality, like most Avon nail paints do & does not apply streaky.
You would need 2 coats to get a completely opaque & matte finish on your nails.
Staying power is where this nail paint needs to do better – It stayed good only for the first day, with some minor scraping at the nail tips owing to typing on the second day.
It started chipping off from the third day!
Below shot at the end of second day.. you can notice wear-off in the nail tips!
Overall, its a great matte shade that looks sophisticated on the hand, but needs to improve on the ‘chipping’ department!
