It’s in the Jeans – 5 Looks, 1 Denim!

“I want to die with my blue jeans on” – Andy Warhol

A comfortable, nice fitting pair of denims is an absolute staple in any women’s wardrobe! Its modern, expressive, practical, simple and has sex appeal!

Here I am styling my favorite pair of jeans from Vero Moda in 5 different ways – something out of the usual one can try, one that’s easy to carry and stands out on the style meter too.

This denim has a mid-waist, straight fit and goes great with most looks!

Let’s get started…

Honestly, isn’t Friday our favorite workday of all?

Not just because it brings the weekend with it! For me, its the day I can sport some cool business casuals and come across as that chic yet sophisticated corporate lady!

Here I have paired my denims with a plain V-neck tee and layered it with a fun and fresh, floral semi-formal cut blazer, both of which are from Vero Moda. (Yes, VM is one of my favorite brands!)

I chose not to tuck in the tee but stretch it outside the denim, so that it can jazz up the pastel green blazer a little more.

Pair this look with a high pony, neutral makeup, block heeled boots and a sling bag – you are ready to rock your Friday!

Boots – Nine West
Sling bag – Caprese

Denims and festive? Yes!

We just had Navratri festivities all over the country, and this look was something everyone loved on me!

All you need is a bright and cheery top  to achieve this look!

A fresh, colorful top over some plain jane denims to add some twist, paired with the right accessories – and you are done!

I didn’t want to wear the usual skirts and lehenga this Dandiya season and opted for this look, which everyone loved! Any frock-styled top or corset paired with denims will give you all the oomph this season.

I kept the makeup in same lines as my look – fresh and glowing!

Denim on denim looks great when done right!

Here I have paired my denims with a fresh yellow top with flared hands and layered it with a denim tunic. Its perfect for a casual date or just some shopping!

Throw in a big tote or girly clutch to suit the occasion.

Denim Tunic – Alia Bhatt for Jabong
Ballerina – Shoetopia
Tote bag – Azure by Siddhi & Payal
Ring – Globus

Denims are the most convenient pair of clothes for all-night partying!

A little experiment can lift the whole look to a new level, than just wearing a top and denims to a party.

I tried the cryptic party look, where I folded my denim to make them look as capris. A golden riveted top adds the glamor to the simple denim capri.

The makeup needs special attention. I tried some quirky arrow instead of winged liners and complimented my dewy skin with a fall/cryptic appropriate dark, brown-toned lipstick.

Fusion dressing is so in, that its making waves at various fashion weeks all over the world.

I love indo-western looks and here is a denim on denim one.

Complimented my denims with a short denim top and layered with a neon yellow Kantha work waistcoat.

Parted hair and pony done on the side, smoky eyes and neon orange lips complete the look.

Denim Top – Vero Moda
Waistcoat – Glam & Luxe
Necklace – Youshine
Ballet Flats – Shoetopia

Denims – Vero Moda
FBB Fit – Midwaist, Straight

That completes my styling 5 different looks from 1 denim! I hope you got some cool ideas to up your denim game!

Note – Please bear with the crappy pictures. My camera and hubby’s phone were broken during the shoot (thanks to my effervescent kid!). All pictures are from my camera phone, which simply wasn’t in the mood to click the other day. Hunting for a good camera – suggestions welcome!
